Billings Outlaws News Release
Billings, MT. The NIFL, the second largest indoor football league in the country, announced that they have accepted a proposal from Montana Professional Sports Inc., (MPS) a Billings, Montana based company. Working closely with the NIFL, MPS has "recommitted" the Outlaws to the Billings Montana Community.
MPS was formed as a local partnership, between several local businessmen, Dan Austin and Craig Gould, NFL legend Ron Heller and an experienced and successful professional sports team owner, from outside the region. MPS partners plan to be very involved in creating a team that is first and foremost an asset to Billings and the area.
Entering its 5th season in the NIFL, the Billings franchise will look to enhance the relationship with the community and its fans. Details are being worked out for promotions that will feature local schools and local talent. Fans can expect lower ticket prices and the same energized, competitive brand of football the Outlaws have delivered in past years.
MPS was able to secure a contract with Joe Curtis as Head Coach. Joe brings years of successful Arena Football experience and a wealth of contacts to the table. Joe's first official act was signing local All American legend Bob Bees as Quarterback and Offensive Coordinator. Watch for more exciting announcements as Joe and Bob fill the roster. Try outs and camp officially begins next weekend, March 12th. Contact Joe Curtis at 672-4532 for details.
