Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class 'A' Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and Concord Mills are teaming up to once again host the always entertaining tryouts for National Anthem singers tomorrow, March 2, in the Concord Mills food court. Anyone interested in trying out can register with the Intimidators at the food court starting at 11:30 a.m. Tryouts will start at noon and will end with the final singer.
Participants of all ages are welcome to take the stage and may sing any song they want a capella (without background music) for their audition, not just the Star Spangled Banner. The Intimidators also encourage anyone who plans to sing to bring their friends out to the mall to cheer for your performance.
Intimidators staff will be looking for talented, aspiring vocalists and musicians to perform the National Anthem prior to home games in 2013, and the best of the best from this tryout will have the opportunity to perform on multiple occasions this upcoming season.
Concord Mills is located off exit 49 of I-85 in Concord, NC. The food court can be accessed through mall neighborhood entryways 1, 2, 6 and 7.
The Kannapolis Intimidators are preparing for the team's 19th season of professional baseball in the community and 13th as an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The 2013 season home opener is on April 11 at CMC-NorthEast Stadium, located off I-85 at exit 63. Season tickets for the 2013 season are now available by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or visiting our website at www.IntimidatorsBaseball.com .
