NASL Names Millien to Team of the Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 17, 2015) - The laurels continue to mount for Jacksonville Armada FC forward Pascal Millien.

After being named North American Soccer League Player of the Week on Monday and Farah & Farah Man of the Match last Saturday against the New York Cosmos, Millien was named to the NASL Team of the Week on Wednesday.

He tallied two goals and an assist in the Armada FC's furious second-half comeback against the New York Cosmos. The Haiti international scored twice and delivered an assist in a 30-minute span of Saturday's 3-3 draw at Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y.

Millien, 29, finished the Spring Season as the Armada FC's leading scorer with four goals and was also tied for second-most in the NASL after finding the net three times in his last four league matches. He has been named Farah & Farah Man of the Match a team-leading three times this season and was also named to NASL Team of the Week on June 10 after leading a feisty Armada attack against Ottawa Fury FC on June 7. It was the fifth week at least one Armada FC player was named to the Team of the Week.

With the Spring Season now over, Millien will turn his attention to international duty. He was named to Haiti's provisional roster for the CONCACAF Gold Cup and will link up with his national team as they prepare for the tournament.
