
NASCAR driver Tony Stewart to appear at Mighty Ducks game

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- NASCAR driver Tony Stewart will drop the first puck, sign autographs for select fans and participate in intermission events when the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks play the San Antonio Rampage at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, January 29 at Cincinnati Gardens.
Stewart, who drives the No. 20 orange-and-white Home Depot Chevy, finished sixth in points (6,326) in the Nextel Cup Series standings in 2004. In addition to victories at Chicagoland and Watkins Glen, Stewart had 10 top-five and 19 top-10 finishes.
A native of Columbus, Indiana, Stewart was NASCAR's 2002 Winston Cup champion and 1999 Rookie of the Year. He also won a championship in 1997 in the Indy Racing League.
Stewart will be appearing at Cincinnati Gardens for the fourth consecutive season to help the Mighty Ducks celebrate NASCAR Night.
