
NAHL Season Start Revealed

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS - The North American Hockey League (NAHL) will be postponing the start of the 2020-21 regular season to Oct. 9, the league announced on Monday. A full schedule of games is set to be released by Sept. 1. The league is committed to playing a full season's worth of contests, with those being affected by the postponement being rescheduled for later in the season.
Besides regular-season games, league-wide events have also been moved. The 18th annual NAHL Showcase has been rescheduled to Dec. 16-19 at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minn. and the 20201 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament will now take place on Feb. 8-9 in Attleboro, Mass. at the New England Sports Village. To ensure all regular-season games can be played, the 2021 Robertson Cup National Championship will commence May 21-25 at Fogerty Arena in Blaine, Minn.
The NAHL is committed to ensuring the safest environment possible for all players, coaches, staff, billet families and fans. The league continues to work daily with the teams of the NAHL, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local authorities to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 in all 27 NAHL communities.
