DELLE DONNE, THIBAULT EARN AP HONORS

The Associated Press named Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne the Associated Press WNBA Player of the year and Mystics Head Coach Mike Thibault the Associated Press WNBA Coach of the Year. They were selected by the 14-member panel for the first AP recognition of their careers. Delle Donne was also named to the AP All-WNBA First Team.

WNBA ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM

Washington Mystics guards Ariel Atkins and Natasha Cloud were named to the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team. It is the second All-Defensive recognition for Atkins and the first for Cloud.

Atkins finished sixth in the WNBA in steals with 1.45 per game this season. Selected to her first All-Defensive Team in her fifth WNBA season, Cloud contributed 1.03 steals and 2.3 defensive rebounds per game for Washington.

Single game playoff tickets on sale

Mystics single game tickets for the WNBA Semifinals starting on Sept. 17 will go on sale on Sept. 10 at 2:00 p.m. Single game tickets for the WNBA Semifinals will start at $23.

As the number one seed, Washington will host Game 1 and Game 2 of the Semifinals on Sept. 17 and Sept. 19 at the Entertainment and Sports Arena at Congress Heights. Both games will air on ESPN2 and will take place at 8:30 p.m.
