Washington Mystics News Release
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Mystics are currently hosting their first ever 'Stics & Kicks For A Cause auction. The initiative pairs Mystics players with a cause near and dear to their hearts in an effort to raise funds and bring awareness to the charitable organization. Each pair of shoes has been hand drawn by emerging artist and female entrepreneur Sammy Handler (KicksBySammy) in collaboration with each Mystics athlete to draw upon inspiration around ideas that have meaning in their lives and that supports a cause they believe in.
Fans will have the chance to bid on the one-of-a-kind sneakers (pictures attached) from Mystics players while benefiting the unique cause they support.
Each custom pair of player shoes is designed to feature the passions of each athlete and comes with an autographed hangtag denoting the authenticity of the shoe and the athlete's signature.
The auction is currently open at
