
Mustangs Sign Three Former Lamar Players

Three former Lamar standout players have signed contracts with the Southeast Texas Mustangs. Darron Hopkins, Lamar Sanders, and Currye Todd have inked contracts with our new ABA professional basketball franchise for the upcoming 2008-09 basketball season.
The three former Cardinals will be three of eighteen players attending the Mustangs Veterans Training Camp later in November. Players report on November 23rd to compete for the twelve active roster spots on the Mustangs Active Roster that will open up the season for the new professional basketball franchise in Beaumont.
Sanders, Hopkins, and Todd all three had excellent careers at Lamar University. Here is a look at their 2007-08 season stats at Lamar University:
