Mustangs continue vet camp and tryouts
November 13, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Atlanta Vision News Release
Atlanta, GA. Brook Steppe, Head Coach of the ABA Atlanta Mustangs and new owner Arthur Crawford announced that Veterans Training Camp began on November 8th and will continue until all roster slots are filled.
According to Steppe, "We've put together a pretty decent squad. We'll be competitive. However, because of the large number of players recently released from NBA and other teams, we will have a tryout camp on November 18th and 19th and see if we can find a few players to blend in with the ones that we are interested in signing."
The tryout camp will be held at the Run n Shoot located at 1959 Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta. Registration will be from 8-9AM on the 18th; Camp fee will be $50. Anyone interested in trying out can reach the Coach at 770 289 9144 or email GM James Bynum at jbynum224@aol.com or visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
