Milwaukee Mustangs News Release
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Mustangs announce the assignments of defensive lineman Dexter Jackson (6'1, 272, DL, Bethune-Cookman), and offensive lineman Nick Torresso (6'2, 305, OL/DL, Bowling Green) to the 2012 roster.
Jackson played in 17 games for the Mustangs last season. He recorded 26.5 tackles, 5.0 for a loss, 6.0 sacks, one interception, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. His college career includes being selected first-team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in 2009 and Black College All-American honorable mention and second-team selection in 2008.
Torresso signed with the Mustangs last season with just two games to play. Although he did not suit up, the Mustangs are excited to welcome him back to the line. Torresso played defensive tackle in his first three seasons with the Bowling Green Falcons before switching to the offensive line in his senior year and starting seven games. He recorded 38 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble on the defensive side of the ball during his career.
