Sioux City Musketeers News Release


Tomorrow night the Musketeers host the first game of a weekend double header with the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets. This is the first time that the Junior Blue Jackets will be playing in Tyson Events Center's Gateway Arena. Ohio has struggled in their inaugural season and currently hold a 1-13-5 record but they're a team that should not be underestimated so expect two tough games this weekend as the Musketeers attempt to take over first place in the Western Division.

Home Game's available on DVD

All Musketeer home games are now available on DVD in HIGH QUALITY! These are the same games broadcast on B2 only they are taken directly off of video production equipment and recorded digitally onto DVD so you get outstanding picture quality! Each DVD is $10 or you can purchase the season for $150. (note, the season package starts with the 11/24/06 game against Green Bay and runs through the end of the regular season). Stop by the Musketeers Gear Stand at the next home game or call our office to order!

New Merchandise

Just in today, Stocking hats!!! The much anticipated item to keep your head warm in this cold weather is finally here! And if that's not enough, we've also just received a shipment of blankets. These baby's are bigger than last years blankets with a huge Musketeer logo on them! There's also a new t-shirt combo pack.

Boy Scouts Pack the house Saturday night

If you're planning on buying seats in the bowl end of the arena Saturday night, you may be a bit disappointed. The entire bowl end will be filled to the brim with Boy Scouts! Good seats are still available on the north and south side seating but they're going fast. It should be a great time in the building both nights this weekend!

Sioux City Musketeers Christmas Party

Join us on Wednesday, December 27th for the Musketeers Christmas Party being held at the Bluffs Family Center in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. The party kicks off at 7:00PM. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. This includes a catered dinner from HyVee, Gift Bags for the Children, a special visit from Santa, entertainment provided by the Musketeer players, and a special presentation by coach Siciliano. This event is open to the public.

There will be a cash bar set up at 6:30PM for social hour with dinner to follow. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required at the Musketeers Booster Club stand located behind section 106 by December 16th.
