
Muskegon's Wrigley named UHL Rookie of the Month

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Wednesday that Muskegon Fury left wing David Wrigley has been named Easton UHL Rookie of the Month for December.
Wrigley completed the month with 17 points (7g, 10a) and a plus-1 rating in 14 games played. He had at least one point in nine games during the month and had five multi-point games. Two of his seven goals were game-winners. For the season, he has seven game-winning goals which ranks first in the UHL. The 25-year-old native of Washago, Ontario currently is tied for the lead among UHL rookies in goals (20) and scoring with 38 points (20g, 18a). Wrigley also ranks second among league rookies with a plus-18 rating.
Other players nominated for the Easton UHL Rookie of the Month include: Adirondack center Mike Berry, Danbury right wing Jean-Michel Daoust, Elmira center Chris Chaput, Flint goaltender Peter Brady, Fort Wayne right wing David Carpentier, Missouri goaltender Kevin Reiter, Motor City forward Peter Szabo, Quad City left wing Matt Radoslovich, Richmond goaltender Doug Groenestege, Roanoke right wing Louis-Philippe Martin, and Rockford left wing Robin Big Snake.
The 2005-06 season is the first year that the Easton UHL Rookie of the Month is being awarded. It recognizes the performance of players who have played in 60 or fewer professional games and goaltenders who have played 3,600 or fewer professional minutes prior to this season.
