Auburn, NY - As it turned out for the Muckdogs, the seventh time was a charm. After 6 straight losses to the division rival Auburn Doubledays, the Muckdogs finally recorded a victory, by the score of 7-1.

The Muckdogs started the scoring, but this time the pitching staff made the lead hold up. A four run third got things going en route to the win. Alex Borgo started the scoring with a solo HR, his third of the year, to lead off the inning, Marc Tugwell's 2 RBI single would cap the scoring in the inning.

Joe Diefenderfer (4-4) went 5 innings to record the win. Diefenderfer allowed just 6 hits, 1 run and walked nobody in 5 innings. Zach Minor and Brad Overton combined to allow just 1 hit the remainder of the way.
