
Morban blasts \'Cats past Armada, 8-2

Edmonton, AB-The Edmonton Cracker-Cats got back on the right foot, surging past the visiting Long Beach Armada, 8-2 . Jose Morban hit his 17th home run of the season, good enough for second in the Golden League, to give Edmonton the commanding 6-0 lead going into the top of the sixth.
The 'Cats got a great game from their starter, Ricardo Rodriguez, who went 7.0 innings, with 6 h, 2 earned runs, 3 walks, and 7 strikeouts on the night. He was relieved by Robert Coello, who had one strikeout in the one inning he pitched. Dave Humen came into the 9th to close the game out for the 'Cats.
J.Figueroa pitched for the Armada, he went 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 6 earned runs, 4 walks, with 5 strikeouts.
Directly following tomorrow night's game versus the Long Beach Armada. The Batting against Breast Cancer teams will be in attendance, hosting a head shaving event live on the field, to raise money for their fundraising efforts.
All breast cancer survivors wearing their pink T-shirt will receive free admission into the game.
