
Morays blast Lubbock, 53-13, in home opener

MIAMI, FL â The Morays offense was in midseason form as they rolled over the Lubbock Gunslingers by a score of 53-13. 2257 fans in attendance got to see Derrick Vickers went 14-24 passing for 206 yards and four touchdowns, while running back Leroy McFadden rushed for fifty yards with two touchdowns runs. McFadden also contributed with 30 yards through the air.
The Morays offense went 5 for 5 on red-zone scoring opportunities, with receiver Patrick Rouzard catching seven balls for 124 yards and one touchdown. The Morays defense did their part as well, limiting the Gunslingers to 13 points and forcing five fumbles.
The Miami Morays will play in the National Indoor Football League, entering its fifth season with 21 teams located across the United States. The NIFL provides players with an opportunity to develop their skills and continue their careers in professional football.
