Morales and Hall Called up by U.S. U-17 MYNT for Final Training Camp Ahead of FIFA U-17 World Cup

Inter Miami CF midfielder Santiago Morales and Inter Miami CF II defender Tyler Hall have been called up by the U.S. U-17 MYNT for a training camp in Sorocaba, Brazil from Sept. 29-Oct. in what will be the team's final camp in preparation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. The camp will include two matches against Brazil on Oct. 4 and Oct. 6.

The USA and Brazil have each qualified to a record 18 FIFA U-17 World Cups. The U.S. kicks off this year's tournament against Korea Republic on Sunday, Nov. 12 and will also face Burkina Faso and France in Group E play. Brazil drew IR Iran, New Caledonia and England in Group C.

Morales, 16, has been previously called up three times by the U.S. U-17 MYNT this year; for a training camp in January, in February as one of the team's three alternates for Concacaf U-17 Championship and most recently for a training camp in Parlm Beach, Fla. in April. The midfielder also represented the U.S. MYNT U-16 side this year, competing with the team at the 2023 International Dream Cup in Fukushima, Japan in late May and early June.

At the club level, Morales made his professional debut with the Club's MLS NEXT Pro Inter Miami CF II in 2023 before being signed as a Homegrown Player for the First Team earlier this month to become the seventh Academy product to sign for the First Team, and the second to sign this year. In all, he made 13 MLS NEXT Pro regular 13 appearances for Inter Miami II in 2023, 10 of them starts, and recorded his first two goals and assists as a professional.

Hall, meanwhile, has consistently been called up by the U.S. youth national teams, including featuring and captaining the U.S. U-17 MYNT during the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship in February as the team qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The 17-year-old defender recently featured with the U-17 side at the Václav Ježek Cup in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic earlier this month.

On the club side, the defender made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II in the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro regular season while being on an Academy contract before signing with the Second Team in March of this year. In 2023, Hall registered 20 MLS NEXT Pro regular season appearances, 18 as a starter, and scored his first two goals as a professional.
