-Midfielder Matko Miljevic tied a team record for most fouls suffered in a game in MLS (7).
Post-game comments from head coach Wilfried Nancy, Samuel Piette and Mathieu Choinière will be available here.
WILFRIED NANCY
"Of course if we scored tonight, it would not have been the same game. In the second half we built the game well. We needed to score on our chances even if we didn't have many. That's football. When you don't punish, you get punished. It happens often when a team plays with 10 players. But this is a good game to learn from. The players know that losing to a 10-man side at home is not what we want. We had the momentum for a long time but we didn't create what we wanted to."
SAMUEL PIETTE
"We are disappointed with the result and the performance. The first half was complicated, and Austin was defending very well. We were lacking some deep runs. Austin was playing with a very high defensive line. We had to stretch their block and we were missing that in our game. When you have an extra man, you obviously dominate the game. But we lacked cohesion in the final third and the killer instinct."
MATHIEU CHOINIÈRE
"We tried to find the spaces. We moved the ball around and crossed to create chances. Unfortunately, we didn't convert them. Austin was playing with 10 men and we were down 1-0. With the pride we have, we wanted to go out and get the win."
