Montreal Wins Third Game in a Row

Drummondville, October 24th 2010- The Montreal Juniors keep their hot streak alive winning 6-3. They win their third game in a row against division leaders Voltigeurs.

The Juniors didn't waste any time scoring in Drummondville scoring on its second shot of the game at 2 :21. On the play Denis Kindl scored his fourth goal of the year unassisted. Montreal doubled its lead at 5 :52 when Francis Meilleur's shot was deflected by Kindl The Voltigeurs could not manage to find the back of the net in the first period despite having 13 shots.

The Voltigeurs solved Jean-François Bérubé at 4 :32 in the second, Ondreh Palat scoring his tenth of the season. Kindle scored his third of the game at 8:36 on a Charles Landry rebound. Marc-Olivier Vachon cut Montreal's lead with his ninth of the season at 10:32 but the Juniors took its two goal lead back with a Nicolas Chouinard goal.

Again, the Voltigeurs are the first to score in the third period with Sean Couturier's eleventh goal of the year. Montreal didn't let the home team gain momentum with a Trevor Parkes goal one minute later. Louis Leblanc puts an end to the game with Montreal's sixth goal with 2:45 to the end of the game.

Pascal Vincent's men will have the week off before going to Baie-Comeau to play the Drakkar at 7:30 pm.
