Montreal Juniors win second game of the pre season

Gatineau, August 22nd 2010 - The Montreal Juniors improved their pre season record to 2-0 with a 3-0 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques Sunday night at the Arena Baribeau.

Étienne Marcoux and Max Smith split time in the shut out. Marcoux stopped 8 shots while Smith turned aside 10.

Marc-Olivier Roy opened up the scoring 3:47 into the fist period. Jean-Christophe Laflamme added to the lead mid way through the period.

The second period featured no scoring and in the third Nicholas Parisella added an insurance marker late in the game.

The Junior's next two pre season games are against the Shawinigan Cataractes, who they open up the season with on September 10th at the Verdun Auditorium. They face off on August 27th in Shawinigan at 7:30pm at the Bionest Center against the Cataractes, and again the following night at the LaPlaine Forum.
