MONTGOMERY - The Tampa Bay Rays have made four roster changes affecting the Montgomery Biscuits.
RHP Wade Davis has been promoted to Durham (AAA- International League). Davis was selected to start the Southern League Allstar game and led the Biscuits in wins (9-6), innings pitched (107 and 2/3), and strike outs (81). His nine wins, was tied for first in the Southern League. Davis posted a 3.85 ERA in 19 starts.
LHP Mike Prochaska returns from Durham (AAA- International League). In two trips to Durham this season, Prochaska is 3-4 with a 6.70 ERA in 11 appearances (9 starts).
RHP Steve Andrade returns from Durham (AAA- International League). Andrade was 0-1 with a 7.80 ERA in ten Durham outings. In April and May with the Biscuits, Andrade was 3-2 with four saves in 15 appearances. He posted a 2.70 ERA with 33 strike outs and nine walks in 20.0 innings pitched.
OF Rocco Baldelli received for a Major League Rehab. Since June 16, Baldelli has played 11 games for the Vero Beach Devil Rays (A-Advanced - Florida State League), all at the DH position. He is batting .216 with two home runs and eight RBIs.
The Biscuits now have 23 active players, four on the disabled list and one on rehab.
