Birmingham Barons News Release
The Chicago White Sox and Birmingham Barons have announced a roster move effective immediately, before tonight's game at Montgomery.
INF Micah Schnurstein has been released. He spent all of last season at A-Advanced Winston-Salem and led the Carolina League in home runs, extra-base hits, and total bases. He was second in the circuit in slugging, hits, runs, and doubles. However, he struggled to find his stroke this season, his second in Birmingham, and managed just a .218 average, 4 HR and 20 RBI.
