Moncton Miracles News Release
The Moncton Miracles have come to terms with Travis George, a 6'9" Power Forward who has played in Mexico, Thailand and with the Austin Toros in the D-League.
Averaging 11 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, and 1.1 blocks per game in the 2012-2013 season in Mexico, Travis George is a welcome addition to the Miracles team.
George will be joining the Miracles in Ontario this week as they continue their stretch of away games against the Central Division teams of the NBL.
The Miracles will also be joined by Miracles veteran Cordell Jeanty. Jeanty played with the Miracles last season, and has been re-signed to the 2013 / 2014 roster. With these two additions to the team, the Miracles organization remains focused on building a competitive team for the community.
The Miracles will play their next home game on December 12th against the Saint John Mill Rats. This game will be the Christmas Game, and an excellent way to kick off the Holiday Season with Miracles Basketball. The Miracles will play two more home games in December, both against the Island Storm. December 27th will be "Kid's Night," which will include bouncy houses, face painting, and local mascot performances. The following night, December 28th, will be Adult Night for which fans can receive a free adult ticket with the purchase of a child's ticket in designated sections or $2.00 off their regular priced game ticket when they show their December 27th game ticket at the box office. The Moncton Miracles appreciate the continued support of our fans this holiday season, and look forward to these upcoming games.
