Mississauga Power News Release
(Mississauga, ON -) The Mississauga Power hosted the Windsor Express at the Hershey Centre tonight, looking to build a season high 3 game win streak.
The team struggled to find its offense, shooting only 38% for the game. Though the Power played great defense, their offensive struggle led to an 102-85 loss.
The Power's Morgan Lewis neared a triple double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists while Kirk Williams Jr. scored 12 of his 21 points in the 4th quarter. DeAndre Thomas was dominant for Windsor, scoring 27 points and adding 10 rebounds. Stefan Bonneau added 21 points with 9 assists.
"They just outplayed us tonight, their bigs were aggressive and gave us a lot of trouble," explained Dwight McCombs. "We'll take a look at what we did wrong and correct it for tomorrow."
The Power continue a two game home stand at the Hershey Centre tomorrow night against the London Lightning.
Tickets are available at the Hershey Centre or at Ticketmaster.
