
Monarchs Recognized by the City of Rockville

Real Maryland Monarchs News Release
Rockville, MD - The Mayor and Council of Rockville have proclaimed April 12 - April 17, 2010 as Real Maryland Soccer Week, and urge all citizens of Rockville to attend Monarch Soccer games during the upcoming season and root them on to victory!
In a ceremony on April 12th at the City of Rockville's Town Hall Council Member Chamber, the Rockville City Council awarded the three-year old club a tremendous honor. The Monarchs were given a Proclamation by the City.
"We have taken great strides to work with the City of Rockville," says General Manager David Noyes. "It is important for us to have the City do well. We have moved the majority of our business to Rockville and it is nice to be recognized."
Real Maryland FC will open up the 2010 Season against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday, April 17th at Richard Montgomery High School with a kick off of 6:30 pm. Last year, both teams split the decision of their matches with each team winning at home by a goal.
