MONARCHS NOTES: The Monarchs have an eight-game winning streak against the Mystics and have won the last four series. Sacramento had a season-high .517 shooting from the field and a season-high 87 points for the game. The Monarchs had four players score in double figures: Rebekkah Brunson had 12 points, Kara Lawson had 13 points, Ticha Penicheiro had 17 points, and Scholanda Robinson had a season-high 12 points. Sacramento opened the second half with a 16-5 run (Kara Lawson scored seven of the 16 points). Ticha Penicheiro tied season-high eight assists.
MYSTICS NOTES: The Mystics shot .571 on 8-of-14 baskets from the three-point line for the game. Washington pulled down 12 offensive rebounds. Alana Beard finished with a game-high 31 points on 11-of-19 from the field. Monique Currie shot .500 for the game on 6-of-12 shots from the field for 17 points to go along with a career-high seven assists. Taj McWilliams-Franklin had eight points, five rebounds, two steals and four blocks.
