Monarchs Conduct Free Winter Soccer Clinics

College Park, MD - Real Maryland FC will be conducting free winter soccer clinics from December through March at the College Park Community Center in Prince George's County. The clinics will be held every Sunday Morning from 11 am - 1 pm. Ages 10 and below will train from 11 am - 12 pm and ages 11 and up will train from 12 pm - 1 pm.

Real Maryland FC is a member of the United Soccer Leagues in the Professional Division, the Super 20 Division and the Super Y League Division on both the boys and girls sides in just their third year of operations. Per agreement with the United Soccer Leagues, the Monarchs operate in Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Frederick County and Howard County.

"Over the course of the past year, we have been able to reach out to Montgomery County Soccer Players with free clinics," says General Manager David Noyes. "We gradually want to offer our professional coaching staff and players to free clinics in all of our Counties on a regular basis."

With the helping hand of their sponsor UMBRO, Real Maryland will hold other free clinics in other parts of Prince George's County over the next several months. In addition to the free clinics the Monarchs are hoping to extend their travel team numbers to Prince George's County by adding some new teams in 2010.

Real Maryland FC participates in the Second Division of the United Soccer Leagues. All 2009 Regular Season Home Games will be played at Lester Stadium at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD.
