Molina, Wlodarczyk Can-Am League Players of the Week

DURHAM, NC -- The Can-Am League announced today that Pittsfield Colonials OF Angel Molina and Brockton Rox LHP Mike Wlodarczyk have been named the Pointstreak Batter and Pitcher of the Week. The selection was made by Pointstreak, the official statistician of the Can-Am League.

In six games this past week, Molina batted .417 with two home runs, four RBIs and six runs scored. He banged out 10 hits and stole two bases to go along with a .440 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage. The Puerto Rican is hitting .355 on the year with three home runs and nine RBIs.

Wlodarczyk went 2-0 this past week with wins over Pittsfield and Worcester. He struck out 14 batters in 13 innings pitched and had an earned run average of 1.39. On the season, the Macungie, PA resident is 3-1 with a 4.13 ERA and 36 strikeouts.
