
Molina, Sausville August Players Of The Month

DURHAM, NC - PA-Sportsticker, the official statistician of the Can-Am League, has selected New Hampshire OF Angel Molina and Quebec Capitales RHP Dan Sausville as the B45 Batter and Pitcher of the Month for August.
Molina batted .378 with four home runs, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight stolen bases. The resident of Ponce, PR also collected 37 hits, including eight doubles and a triple, along with a slugging percentage of .602. For the season, Molina is batting .290 with 12 home runs and 57 runs batted in.
The 27-year-old Molina was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Florida Marlins in 2000. He played eight seasons in the Marlins organization before joining Florence out of the Frontier League last season.
Sausville had a perfect 4-0 record with a 2.91 ERA in August. In 34 innings pitched, he allowed 11 earned runs on 26 hits with nine walks and 21 strikeouts. On the season, the native of Schenectady, NY is 8-3 with an earned run average of 4.34. The 25-year-old played in 2007 with the Grays and in 2008 with Laredo of the United League.
