Minnesota United FC 2 News Release
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - MNUFC2 took down Sporting KC II on the road last weekend, further extending their unbeaten streak to eight games. Two late goals from Tommy Williamson and Diogo Pacheco were enough to seal the deal and get some retribution from their loss to Sporting KC II earlier this season. Up next, the Loons will face Earthquakes II in sunny San Jose. So far, San Jose's season has been one marked by inconsistency. Back in May, Earthquakes II took down Colorado Rapids 2 with an impressive 7-1 scoreline. However, the team has struggled to score since then, only registering one goal per game over the last three contests, resulting in two losses and a tie. While the Loons have been on an impressive unbeaten-streak as of late, it will be crucial that the Loons continue to play to the best of their abilities to secure three points in The Golden State.
