MNUFC Trades International Roster Spot to Chicago for TAM and GAM

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today that the club has traded a 2019 International Slot to Chicago Fire for $125,000 in General Allocation Money and $75,000 in Targeted Allocation Money.

MNUFC wrapped up their first preseason trip in Tucson, Arizona, with a tie to Houston Dynamo 0-0. The club will leave Tucson with a 1-0-2 record, securing a 9-2 win over FC Tucson and a 0-0 draw against Phoenix Rising. The team will be in Minnesota from February 7-12 before heading south to Orlando, Florida, for a 12-day trip.

MNUFC begins the 2019 MLS season with a five-game roadtrip that starts with a game against Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place on Saturday, March 2 at 5:00 p.m. CT. Minnesota United opens their new stadium Allianz Field on April 13 versus New York City FC at 4:00 p.m. CT.
