It's another important battle for placing within the Western Conference as the Colorado Rapids play host to Chivas USA in Denver. The teams are tied for third place in the conference, and while second place is out of reach, both clubs six points behind Houston Dynamo, both would also like to maintain their advantage ahead of fifth-place Los Angeles Galaxy, who are five points behind.
