
MLS Fines Portland Timbers Head Coach Giovanni Savarese for Comments Regarding Officiating

NEW YORK - MLS Commissioner Don Garber announced today that Portland Timbers head coach Giovanni Savarese has been fined an undisclosed amount for his halftime comments regarding the officiating during Portland's match against Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 7. These comments are in violation of the league's public criticism policy.
