
MLS Disciplinary Committee Suspends Arena
October 4, 2013 - Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release
NEW YORK (October 4, 2013) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena one game. During second half stoppage time of the September 29 game against the Portland Timbers, Arena left his technical area and entered the field of play, which per League policy results in an automatic one game suspension. Arena will not be permitted on the sideline or in the locker room while serving his suspension during the Galaxy's game Sunday against Chivas USA.
