MLS Disciplinary Committee Sanctions Real Salt Lake's Mansally and Saborío

NEW YORK (March 14, 2013) - Based on games played in Week 2 of the regular season, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has:

- Suspended Real Salt Lake defender Abdoulie Mansally one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct during his team's March 9 game against D.C. United. The Committee determined that Mansally used his head to strike United midfielder Perry Kitchen in the 61st minute

- Fined Real Salt Lake forward Alvaro SaborÃ-o an undisclosed amount for aggravated dissent toward the referee in the 93rd minute of his team's March 9 game against D.C. United.

- Issued an official warning to Sporting Kansas City for a violation of the League's mass confrontation policy in the 95th minute of their March 9 game against Toronto FC. Future violations of this policy by Sporting Kansas City will result in fines for the Club and Head Coach.
