MLS Disciplinary Committee Decisions

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Houston Dynamo forward Mauro Manotas for his failure to leave the field in a timely manner after receiving a red card in the 45+ minute during Houston's match against FC Dallas on Oct. 7.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to FC Dallas defender Matheus "Bressan" Bressanelli for his failure to leave the field in a timely and orderly manner after the issuing of a red card in the 89th minute during Dallas' match against the Houston Dynamo on Oct. 7.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Erik Godoy for his failure to leave the field in a timely and orderly manner after receiving a red card in the 76th minute during Vancouver's match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Oct. 7.

Independent Review Panel rescinds Godoy suspension

The Independent Review Panel, consisting of one representative from the United States Soccer Federation, one representative from the Canadian Soccer Association, and one independent representative nominated by the Professional Referee Organization, has unanimously rescinded the one-game suspension and accompanying fine for the red card issued to Vancouver Whitecaps defender Erik Godoy in the 76th minute of Vancouver's match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Oct. 7.

As a result of the Whitecaps FC appeal, Godoy is eligible to play in Vancouver's next regular season game on Oct. 10 against Real Salt Lake.
