NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Minnesota United FC midfielder Osvaldo Alonso in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. Alonso has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 90+ minute of Minnesota's match against New York City FC on April 13.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Colorado Rapids midfielder Nicolás Mezquida guilty of simulation/embellishment. Mezquida has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 90+ minute of Colorado's match against D.C. United on April 13.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found FC Cincinnati defender Mathieu Deplagne in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. Deplagne has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 41st minute of Cincinnati's match against the Los Angeles Football Club on April 13.
