Missions rally does in Express again

Round Rock Express News Release
In many ways, Thursday's 11-8 San Antonio win over Round Rock closely resembled Wednesday's game. It was just on a much grander scale. Down 5-2 early, the Missions scored nine unanswered runs to down the Express in front of 8,476 at The Dell Diamond.
Unlike Wednesday when Round Rock got started late in the game, the Express got rolling early Thursday. Round Rock scored five times in the third on four singles and a two-run double by Anthony Acevedo. That lead, however, was short lived.
San Antonio roared back to plate four runs in the fourth backed by a solo home run by A.J. Zapp. The Missions didn't stop there, though. Five runs in the seventh essentially put the game away.
There were some offensive stars for Round Rock. Chris Tremie had four RBIs and hit his fourth home run of the season and Mike Hill had three hits and two RBIs. On the down side, Chris Burke's 12-game hitting streak ended, although his consecutive games streak of getting on base was extended to 31.
Gustavo Martinez (1-0) and starter Chad Qualls (1-5) got the loss. Tim Hamulack got his first save of the year.
The two teams will conclude their four-game series Friday at 7:05 p.m.
