Miracles Name Serge Langis as Interim Head Coach

(Moncton, NB) The Moncton Miracles say goodbye to Head Coach/General Manager Ricky Benitez. Moncton native Serge Langis has been named as the Interim Head Coach for the time being.
Langis has been an assistant coach with the organization since day one and has coached basketball in New Brunswick at the provincial level for quite some time. He will be filling in as coach until the team comes to a decision on who the replacement will be.
"We don't want to make a fast decision as to who we hire," said Miracles President Kim Blanco. "We want to make sure that we take the necessary time to find the best candidate for the job. We have a couple of candidates in mind that I've forwarded the job description to and I've also received several resumés."
Landis will coach the Team on Saturday, December 22nd at 7:00pm at Saint John and Sunday, December 23rd at 2:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum vs. the Halifax Rainmen.

The Miracles play their next game on the road against the Saint John Mill Rats on Saturday, December 22nd. Tip-off is 7pm at the Harbour Station. The next home game will be Sunday, December 23rd against the Halifax Rainmen.
