Miracles Make a Change in Their Roster

Moncton Miracles News Release


(Moncton, NB) The Moncton Miracles released David Tairu from their roster and signed Isaac Butts.

Butts is a 6'10 centre from Milledgeville, Georgia who played his college career for the Appalachian State Mountaineers. Over the weekend, point guard Taliek Brown was also signed to the Miracles. Brown 6'1 played for Halifax last season and will be wearing #23 this season. In 2004 he started for UConn and won an NCAA Championship.

"We are extremely excited about the way this years team is shaping up," said Head Coach/ General Manager Rickey Benitez. "All of the positions are starting to fill out and I think we have the best players to get the job done"

The Moncton Miracles will play their next game on Thursday, November 14th against their NB Rivals the Saint John Mill Rats. Tip-off is 7pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
