
Miracles Lose Buzzer Beater to Power

(MONCTON, NB) The Moncton Miracles fell to the Oshawa Power at the Moncton Coliseum with a final score of 110-108.
At the end of the first quarter the Miracles had a 35-23 over the Power but shortly in to the second quarter lost it and were unable to get it back. The half ended with the Power having a 52-51 lead.
The second half continued to be close with the game ending 96-96 sending the game into overtime.
The Miracles led for most of overtime and with 10 seconds left to play had a 108-107. Power's Omari Johnson hit a buzzer beater three to give his team a 110-108 win over the Miracles.
Darrell Wonge was the top scorer for the Miracles with 25 points. Boubacar Coly followed with 24 points and 9 rebounds.
Brandon Robinson led the way for the Power with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Omari Johnson was right behind him with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Technical foul was given to Miracles Akeem Wright. Power's Marcus Johnson was and Morgan Lewis were fouled out of the game in the fourth quarter.
The Miracles play their next game at home against the Halifax Rainmen on Monday, January 30th, 2012. Game time is 7:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
