
Miracles Lose a Hard Fought Battle to the Mill Rats

(Moncton, NB) The Moncton Miracles lost in a battle to the Saint John Mill Rats in their first pre season game, 110-107.
Devin Sweetney had a big start for Moncton early on draining 3 after 3. The Miracles led for the most of the game until the Mill Rats took over with only 6:28 left in the game. Darrell Wonge hit a big shot with 7.6 seconds left to bring Moncton within 2 points but it was too late.
Devin Sweetney and David Tairu were the top scorers for the Miracles with 18 points each. Darrell Wonge followed with 17 points.
Joe Posey led the way for the Mill Rats with 18 points. Jerice Crouch was right behind him with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
Moncton plays their next pre season game against the Summerside Storm on Friday, October 26th. Tip off is 7pm at the Credit Union Place. The Miracles play their Home Opener against the Quebec Kebs on Sunday, November 4th, 2012 at the Moncton Coliseum.
