Mill Rats Win First Preseason Game

(Moncton, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats, presented by Rogers, rallied in Moncton to down the Miracles, 110-107, in their first preseason game of the 2012-13 season.
David Cooper made a successful professional Head Coach debut for Saint John, as the Mill Rats sat out Anthony Anderson, Antonio Anderson, and PJ Young. Melvin Council also did not dress due to injury.
The Mill Rats initially struggled with their chemistry and free throw shooting, but came on strong late to seal the deal on the road.
Joe Posey scored 18 points off the bench, Jerice Crouch had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Five other Mill Rats scored in double figures.
