
Miracles Isaac Butts Named the Recharge with Milk Player of the Week

(Moncton, NB) The National Basketball League of Canada has announced that Miracles Isaac Butts was named the Recharge with Milk Player of the Week for the week ending February 17th, 2013. Butts is the first centre this season to earn Player of the Week honors, and only the second rookie this season.
Butts, a 6'10 centre from Milledgeville, Georgia who played his college career at Appalachian State, achieved a double-double of 24 points and 18 rebound's in Moncton's 110-106 road victory on Thursday, February 14th against the Summerside Storm.
"Isaac has played a big part in what this team has accomplished so far this season being a dominate force at both ends of the floor," said Miracles Head Coach Dennis Truax "Butts is currently averaging 12.76 points per game and 9.56 rebounds per game which is a huge accomplishment for a rookie player."

The Miracles play their next game on the road on Thursday, February 21st against the Oshawa Power. The last home game is on Monday, February 25th against the Halifax Rainmen. Tip-off is 7pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
