Mill Rats Host Pink Jersey Night Thursday

(Saint John, NB: The Saint John Mill Rats, presented by Rogers, are proud to host their annual "Pink Night" on Thursday evening, Feb. 21st at 7pm as they take on the Summerside Storm. The Mill Rats will be playing the game in limited edition pink jerseys which will later be auctioned off. All proceeds go towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

The team just recently won their game Sunday afternoon as they beat the Halifax Rainmen with a final score of 91-89. Their away game scheduled at the Credit Union Place in Summerside today, was cancelled due to the weather. Stay tuned to hear about when the game will be rescheduled.

After yesterday's game, the Mill Rats tie Halifax for the 4th playoff spot with 16 wins and 16 losses on the season. The Windsor Express are right behind at 14-16.

The Mill Rats are currently battling to hold second place en route to playoffs during the second season of the National Basketball League of Canada.

Come support your Mill Rats for their second last home game of regular season action and rock your pink!

The jerseys will be autographed and officially auctioned off after half time during the Sunday, March 3rd game against the Halifax Rainmen. Bidding will start during the game Thursday night. For those who would like to continue the bid on their limited pink jerseys, the bid sheets will be held at the Mill Rats Fan Zone, located on the 2nd floor of Brunswick Square (next to Tim Hortons).

Current season ticket holders are reminded to get their tickets for All Star Weekend events by Feb. 21st. After that date, tickets will be opened up to the public.
