Summerside Storm News Release
Darrell Wonge's 30 points, along with Victor Morris and Trayvon Lathan's 23 each, lead the Moncton Miracle to their first win of the season, a 111-102 victory over the Summerside Storm at Credit Union Place in Summerside on Friday night. Attendance was 1654.
Moncton had the lead after all quarters with their balanced attack, shooting close to 50% from the field and over 75% from the foul line.
Mike Williams had 28 points and 11 rebounds for his second straight double-double but it wasn't good enough to deny the Miracles their first points of the season. Terry Martin's 15, Jessan Gray's 14, Julian Allen and Xavier Hansbro each with 11 were the other top scorers for the Storm.
The next action for the Storm is this coming Tuesday evening when the first place London Lightning visit Summerside for a 7 o'clock starter.
