FORT MYERS, FL (September 4, 2008) -The Fort Myers Miracle are headed to their first Florida State League Championship Series since 1995, and will open against either Daytona or Palm Beach on Saturday night at Hammond Stadium.
The Palm Beach Cardinals were able to stave off elimination on Thursday in Daytona, surviving a late Cubs comeback, to hold on for a 5-4 win and force a decisive game three on Friday night in Palm Beach.
The East Division winner will have home-field advantage in the Championship Series this year. Eastern Division clubs automatically receive home field advantage in even numbered years (2008) and the Western Division gets the home field in the Championship Series in odd numbered years.

Tickets obtained at RaceTrac can be upgraded to a box seat for only $2.00 at the Miracle's Hammond Stadium offices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday or at the box office the nights of the game.
