Miracle Await Finals Opponent

FORT MYERS, FL (September 2, 2008) -The Fort Myers Miracle are headed to their first Florida State League Championship Series since 1995, and will open against Daytona or Palm Beach depending on the outcome of the East Division Final.

Daytona rallied last night to post a 10-9 Game One victory over Palm Beach. Game Two is slated for Daytona tonight, and if the Cubs win, the FSL Championship Series will begin tomorrow in Fort Myers. If Palm Beach wins tonight, the FSL Championship Series will begin on Saturday night at Hammond Stadium.

The East Division winner will have home-field advantage in the Championship Series this year. Eastern Division clubs automatically receive home field advantage in even numbered years (2008) and the Western Division gets the home field in the Championship Series in odd numbered years.
