Miracle Golf Tour looks to break world record at Soul game this Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul will welcome David "Oggie" Ogron's Miracle Golf Tour to perform at halftime when the Soul face the Tampa Bay Storm this Sunday, January 29, at the Wachovia Center. He will attempt to break his own world record by hitting over 130 golf balls in two minutes.

"Oggie" currently holds three world records, including a Guinness World Record for the most golf balls hit in a 24-hour period (10,392), most golf balls hit in a 12-hour period (6,971) and most golf balls hit in a one-hour period (2,438). "Oggie" is the only person in history to have owned all three-world records.

"Oggie" is a teaching golf professional and founder of the Miracle Golf Tour, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children with cancer.

The Soul kickoff their third season in the AFL on January 29, 2006 when they host the Tampa Bay Storm at the Wachovia Center.
