
Miracle and Tigers Washed Out at Hammond Stadium, Play Two on Sunday

FORT MYERS, FL (August 19, 2006) - The Fort Myers Miracle are definitely going to have to earn their place in the playoffs as they will play three double headers over the final two weeks of the season, including back-to-back double dips, with one on Sunday and Monday. The Miracle and Lakeland Tigers were rained out on Saturday night at Hammond Stadium. The double header on Sunday will begin at 12:00 p.m. with both games scheduled for seven innings. The Miracle will send RHP Kyle Waldrop (3-0 2.51) to the mound in game one and the Tigers will counter with RHP Kevin Ardoin (7-9, 3.98). Both teams are TBA in game two. The second game will begin approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Sunday is Family Fun Sunday presented by WWGR 101.9 and WJGO 102.9.
