Minot Skyrockets Announce 2006-2007 Schedule

Minot, ND - September 29, 2006 - After much anticipation, the Minot Skyrockets are pleased to announce the release of the 2006-2007 season schedule. The CBA League office announced 3 new franchises in the last week, bringing the league to 10 teams. "While only 2 of the teams (Albany and Yakama) are holdovers from last year's 8, the league looks to be even stronger than before," said General Manager Kim Mueller.

The CBA will be split into two conferences: the National Conference and the American Conference. The Skyrockets will be playing in the American Conference along with the Albany Patroons, the Atlanta Krunk Wolverines, the Indiana Alleycats, and the Pittsburgh Xplosion. The National Conference will consist of the Butte Daredevils, the Great Falls Explorers, the Utah Eagles, the Vancouver Dragons, and the Yakama Sun Kings.

The Minot Skyrockets will be starting their season on the road with a December 1st game at Utah. The home opener is set for December 3rd against Utah with tip-off at 4:05 pm CST. All other home games will tip-off at 7:05 pm CST at the Minot Municipal Auditorium.

Season tickets are still available for the 2006-2007 season. Several pricing options are available, and an early bird special is being offered until October 1, 2006. Ticket holders have the opportunity to pick their seats on a first-come, first-serve basis, but seats are filling up quickly so please come by the Skyrockets office located in the lower level of the Minot Municipal Auditorium.
